Check Sync Server Configuration in Appetize

Configuring your CSS:

1.  Your Check Sync Server is located (enter terminal location here). Use the Home button at the bottom of the screen to toggle between Check Sync Server and Activate.

      2. Open the Check Sync Server app and select Server>Start Server.                        
Find the IP address in the upper right corner of the screen. This is your Check Sync                                Server IP.

3. Use the Home button to navigate back to the Activate app. Select the gear icon from the vendor login screen, then Synchronization Config.
4. If the home button is not active, you will need to contact support to have it enabled on the terminal.

• Type your Check Sync Server IP into the Synchronization Config field and select Submit.

• Log in to the vendor as you normally would on Activate or KDS. 
• Repeat this process for each device, including POS and KDS.

4. Navigate back to Check Sync Server.                                                                                                  
   • You should now see that the check sync server is running and a list of your devices in sync.
   • If a device is listed in red, it does not communicate with the server.
   • You can test the CSS by opening a check in Activate, sending items to the KDS, and making sure you can see the same check on every POS. If you can do this, then your CSS is working properly.
