Description: Learn how to properly uninstall an application and install a new version via the App Catalog to ensure a smooth update process on your device.
When updating to a new version of an application via the App Catalog, it is advised that the current or older version be uninstalled first.
Uninstalling an Application
- Locate the application that needs to be uninstalled.
- Press and hold the icon of the app.
- A menu will appear with the option to "Uninstall."
- Select that option and the app will be removed from the device.
Installing Activate
- Open the Hub app on the home screen or from the All Apps page.
- Select App Catalog.
- Tap on the Install/Processing button.
- Tap Install to confirm the installation.
Once the installation process begins, please wait a full 2 – 5 minutes for the installation to complete.
- If the app does not install/update successfully, please repeat the process.
- If the app does not install/update successfully, please repeat the process.
- If the update is still unsuccessful, uninstall the app and attempt the update process again.
