Description: Review how to view and close PreOrder Checks within Activate POS for Suites below.
Viewing/Closing PreOrders
- Log in to Activate with Suite User Account to access the PreOrder checks.
- The orders can be viewed by selecting Check from the main screen.
- Additional items can be added to the PreOrder by adding an item to the cart and selecting the Check button.
- Select the appropriate PreOrder check and select Yes to add the additional item.
- To review the status of the PreOrder checks, pull up the left side menu by holding down on the Account name in the top left corner and select Check Orders.
- The Check Order screen will display Closed, Pending, Offline, Opened, Refunded, and Declined checks.
- From the Check Orders screen, the Suite user will use the Open Checks tab to finalize/complete the Preorder. See the below steps to close the Pre-order checks:
- Pull up the left side menu by holding down on the Account name in the top left corner and select Check Orders.
- Select the Open Checks tab.
- Select the PreOrder Check you wish to close.
- Select Add Tip/Close Order.
- If the tip is a different tender than the stored credit card, select Add Tip with a different tender.
- Choose the Tip Preset percentage amount or the Custom Tip option.
- Select Apply and press the Close Order button to move the PreOrder to Completed.
