Enable Fast Quantity Entry on SkyTab POS

How it Works

Instead of repeatedly tapping an item or displaying the quantity override screen, simply touch a quantity button and then touch the menu item you are ordering. You can set this up on SkyTab POS for Departments and Favorites. You can also set this up using Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM) for Departments and Display Groups.

How it Helps

• Significantly reduce the number of touches per order
• Increase accuracy and reduce mistakes
• Speed up the order entry process
• Spend less time on the POS and more time interacting with the guests

Where to Enable it for Departments 

1. Navigate to Manager > Settings > Menu > Departments.
2. Select your department.
3. Slide the toggle to enable the "Display Quantity Buttons" under Fast Quantity Buttons.
   
4. Tap Save. Repeat for additional departments.

Note: You can also enable Fast Quantity buttons for Departments on LBM.

Where to Enable it for Favorites

1. Navigate to Manager > Settings > Menu > Favorites.
2. Slide the toggle to enable the "Display Quantity Buttons" at the top of the window.
   
3. Tap Save. Repeat for additional favorites.

Where to Enable it for Display Groups on LBM

1. Log in to Lighthouse.
2. Navigate to SkyTab Settings > Menu > Display Groups.
3. Edit an existing display group or select Add Display Group.
4. Slide the toggle ON to enable the "Display Quantity Buttons".
   
5. Select Save.

At the POS

Once you have your ticket open, tap the quantity and then tap the item to add it to the ticket. Here we selected a quantity of '4.'

Next, we selected "Coke." 

The ticket lists Coke 4 x $5.00. 

• You can enter a maximum quantity of 999
• Use the 'Clear' button to remove the quantity currently entered
