Description: Learn to enable and configure Ethernet connectivity on the Ingenico Lane 3000.
Note: Verify that the Lane 3000 device is configured for Ethernet mode before proceeding.
- Plug in the Ingenico Lane 3000 device and wait for it to boot up fully. When the startup is complete, you will see a "This Lane Closed" screen.
- Type in 0001 using the keys on the device to enter the Admin menu.
- On the Admin menu, select 1- Communication type or use the arrow keys to highlight it, and then press the green Enter button.
- The currently selected communication type will be highlighted. Verify that Ethernet is selected. If not, select 2-ETHERNET or use the arrow keys to highlight it, and then press the green Enter button.
- Press the red Cancel button to leave the menu and select 1-Yes when prompted to save and reboot. When the reboot is complete, you will see a "This Lane Closed" screen.
- Type in 0001 using the keys on the device to enter the Admin menu.
- Select 2-Ethernet Parameters.
- Select 1-IP configuration.
- From the IP Configuration menu, ensure that "DHCP activation" is off. Also, verify the IP address of the PIN pad, which will be needed for the UTG device configuration.
- Press the red Cancel button until a "This Lane Closed" screen is displayed.
- Perform a firmware update.
