Description: The Connection Test Tool is designed to check network connectivity, ensuring that Commerce Engine can establish outbound connections to essential systems. To utilize this tool, you must be running Commerce Engine v2.6.2 or above.
Follow these steps to run the connection test tool:
- Open the side menu by selecting the top right corner five times.
- Choose the Run Connectivity Test option.
- Select the Run Connectivity Test button.
- The tool will execute the test and display the results.
- If the Commerce Engine Cloud Interface is not enabled, the Device Cloud section will show “Not Enabled.”
- If the Commerce Engine Cloud Interface is not enabled, the Device Cloud section will show “Not Enabled.”
- Ensure that all connection tests display “Online” with a green circle. If any connections appear as “Offline” with a red circle, you will need to adjust your network and firewall settings to allow the necessary connectivity. Refer to the Commerce Engine Network Requirements document for more information.
- To rerun the connectivity test and refresh the results, select the Run Connectivity Test button again.
- Select the back arrow to exit the Connection Test Tool.
