Ticket Genie Setup on the ChefTab Kitchen Video System
- Open Settings (use 9999 to unlock).
- Select Launch Ticket Genie.
- Select Capture New Ticket.
- Send a ticket with at least two items, along with modifiers, so you can configure how the tickets display on the KVS system.
- After capturing the ticket from the POS, the Ticket Genie will bring you to this screen, where Ticket Genie will give you the option to change what the line is defined as.
- You will need to click on the question mark buttons and select the following options.
Here are all the options it allows for you to assign for the lines:
The following is a completed ticket format:
- The first three lines are "HEADER"
- In between the "HEADER" and the "ITEM," you will see "HIDE HEADER"
- This is placed underneath the "HEADER" on the blank space left between the "HEADER" and "ITEM" to remove the blank space when displaying on the KVS.
- The Burger is the Menu Item you would assign that line as an "ITEM"
- The Egg, Onion, and Pickle are all choices ("MODIFIERS"). You would assign them as "MODIFIER"
- In between the "MODIFIER" and "FOOTER," there’s another blank space that you would assign as "HIDE FOOTER"
- "FOOTER" is the last two lines on the ticket
After this is completed, you will select Save & Exit.
