The HT-Retail software has hundreds of different reports available from your Reports menu, and each report is fully customizable using the Query Builder features.
Basic Reporting Options
To access the Reporting Menu, log in to the system using administrator credentials and select Reports either from the home screen or the navigation bar at the top. Once on the screen, you can select the report, select stores, query, select the date, or favorite reports. These are explained in more detail below.
Select Report
The HT-Retail software uses a folder system to organize the available reports. Clicking the "+" (plus sign) next to a folder will expand it and allow you to view the reports therein. Many of the folders will also contain subfolders within them that contain more specific report options. This is the primary way for users to navigate the reports found within the software.
Select Stores
The Select Stores section of the Reports screen can be used for Multi-Site merchants to specify which store(s) location they would like to pull the report for. This can be used to pull a report for each store individually or consolidate the store data to be populated into one single report. For stores with only one location, this section has no functionality.
Queries
Selecting Build Query will open the Query Builder menu and allow you to generate more specific reporting.
Select Date
Once a report is highlighted, you can select the time and data parameters for the report. The From and To drop-downs under Select Date allow you to specify the time frame for the report being pulled.
Some reports are not affected by the date range fields. These reports will always show the date fields as inaccessible. A common example might be an inventory count report; this would always show the inventory as it currently stands and cannot be pulled for different date ranges.
The larger the date range, the more data that is being pulled, which can result in a longer load time.
Favorite Reports
You can set up Quick Launch Buttons for the reports you use most so they are easy to use and access.
