Description: On occasion, you may need to export a list of all of your customers' email addresses. Learn about the steps needed to perform this function below.
- To begin, log in to the system and select Customers from either the home screen or the navigation bar at the top.
- Once under the Customer Database, select More >>> in the upper right corner of the Customers screen.
- Then select Print/Export from the drop-down menu.
- A Print/Export window will appear; within it you will see three boxes allowing you to Choose Customers, Print/Export a Compiled List, or Print Mailing Label/Envelope.
- To export the customer email addresses select Build Query in the Choose Customers field.
- This will take you to the Query Builder.
- Select Email Address from the list on the left.
- Select the $ symbol. It functions as 'CONTAINS'.
- Type in the @ symbol as the Value.
- Select Add >>> to add the query and use it to export the email addresses of your customers.
- Close the Query Builder window and select Export List to save your file that contains the exported list of email addresses. At the bottom of the save window, select CSV Files (Comma Delimited) as the file type.
An alternative method of tracking customer email addresses is to access the Customer Database, select the desired customer, and then select the Email Subscriber checkbox.
