What is causing this Error?
If the KVS Monitor displays an error message "No Video Signal Input," this indicates that the monitor itself is working, as is the VGA cable connecting the monitor to the KVS Bumpbar. This also indicates that the monitor itself is receiving power but does not indicate if the Bump Bar is receiving power.
The most common cause of this error is that the Bump Bar is not powered on or is no longer functioning correctly. As long as you can see a message on the monitor, the monitor itself, VGA, and monitor power cable are all working correctly -- which narrows the issue down to something with the Bump Bar or how it is connected.
If you are receiving the error message, you will need to check all of the following:
- Confirm the bump pad and monitor are getting power.
- Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into both the bump pad and video monitor. Push the cables in securely.
- Make sure the video monitor is powered on.
- Make sure the video cable is securely plugged in on both the monitor and bump pad. Push the cables in securely.
- If all the above is checked and you are still not getting video, a swap is most likely needed. Call Customer Support for more assistance.
