Description: The troubleshooting steps below will help you determine if your ChefTab Pro has a bad SD card.
- Under normal operation, your ChefTab should boot to a screen that looks something like this, depending upon your configuration.
- One of the symptoms of a bad SD card is your ChefTab will boot to a screen like this, and it will freeze at this screen for a very long period of time.
- To verify that this is the problem, remove power from the ChefTab Pro controller and open it by removing the 4 screws on the side.
- Remove the SD card found on the motherboard and then re-apply power.
- If your ChefTab Pro now boots normally and quickly, you have a bad SD card, and it will need to be replaced.
- Your ChefTab Pro will continue to work until you can find a replacement. A replacement of any size GB will do.
- If the failed SD card you removed from the ChefTab Pro DOES NOT look like this one please notify customercare@selectelectronics.com.
