What is causing this Issue?
The "Log Out Warning" message may display when logging in to Lighthouse Transaction Manager (LTM) for several reasons:
- Users who share their username with another employee. For example, if the employee did not log out after logging in, the next user who logs in with that shared account would receive the error.
- If the username is unique to the user, the time may look incorrect due to a difference in the time zone. The time in the Logout Reminder pulls from LTM’s User In/Out Session Activity which is recorded in Pacific Time.
- If you are logging in to LTM in multiple tabs/windows or computers, the username may be logged in on multiple servers simultaneously. Since there is no session linking logic, this confuses the session in/out counter, which records "in date" and "time order."
How do I resolve this Issue?
You should log in to one tab/window/computer at a time to avoid having the “log out warning” come up.
To be PCI compliant, usernames should not be shared. Every user should have a unique username and password. Refer to the Account Administrator if additional users are required.
