Description: Learn how to void a cash payment for Retail.
A cash sale can be voided through the Recall Transaction screen.
- To better filter the Recall Transaction results, it is recommended that you first add that customer to the transaction by selecting them from the Customer Database.
- Once the Customer is added, then select [F3] Recall Trans.
- If the customer was not assigned to the transaction, search by Transaction Date, Transaction #, or filter by Transaction Types. These options are all radio buttons found at the top of the Recall Transaction screen.
- Select the applicable cash transaction, then select Void Transaction.
- Enter the void reason and select Void Transaction.
Note: A notification will appear on the screen after the void is completed.
