What is causing this Error?
This error appears when the system is unable to successfully read or identify the ID during the scan. Common causes include:
- The ID is not fully visible within the camera frame
- Glare, shadows, or poor lighting conditions
- The camera is out of focus or moving during the scan
- The ID is damaged, bent, or worn
How do I resolve this Error?
Try the following steps before rescanning:
- Ensure the ID is placed flat and fully within the camera frame
- Improve lighting and reduce glare or reflections
- Hold the device steady while scanning
- Clean the camera lens if needed
Once adjustments are made, select Scan ID again.
