What is causing this Error?
This error indicates that the ID was successfully scanned but did not meet verification requirements. This may occur if:
- The ID has expired
- The customer does not meet the required age (for example, under 21)
- The ID information could not be validated
How do I resolve this Error?
An ID marked as invalid cannot be used to verify customer eligibility.
- Do not proceed with the transaction if ID verification is required
- Ask the customer for another valid, government-issued ID if available
- Select Scan ID to scan a different ID, or
- Select Done to exit ID Check and return to the Home screen
