Priority Checkout uses a pre-authorization flow, where the final amount is completed at a later time.

- Tap, insert, or swipe the card.
The transaction amount is displayed on the payment device in the local currency. - The customer is offered the option to pay in their card’s native currency or the local currency and selects their preferred payment currency.
- The customer must agree that the final exchange rate will be determined on the day the transaction is completed.
Priority Checkout transactions require a separate completion. During completion, it will follow the DCC choice the customer has made at Preauth, and then the final amount is processed using the exchange rate on the completion (checkout) date, and the customer receives a receipt.
