Overview
Evergreen Digital Menu is a digital menu management platform that integrates with Shift4 Dine and displays menu content across digital menu boards, web menus, and QR code menus. After connecting your account, Evergreen imports menu items, categories, prices, and availability from Shift4 Dine.

Before You Begin
Confirm the following before starting:
- Shift4 Dine is active at your location
- You have admin access to Marketplace
- Your Shift4 Dine menu is complete and up to date
- You have an Evergreen account (visit evergreenhq.com or contact Evergreen at support@evergreenhq.com to get started)
Important: Evergreen pulls menu data directly from Shift4 Dine. Changes to menu items, categories, prices, and availability should be made in Shift4 Dine.
Before connecting Evergreen, verify that your menu is complete and accurate. Incomplete items, missing prices, or unpublished categories will appear on connected displays until corrected in Shift4 Dine.
Step 1: Install Evergreen Digital Menu From Marketplace
- Log in to the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.
- Select Marketplace.
- Search for Evergreen Digital Menu.
- Select Install on the Evergreen app page.
- You will be redirected to Evergreen's login page to authorize the connection via OAuth.
- Log in with your Evergreen account credentials and approve the integration.
- Once authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to Marketplace, and the connection will be established.
After authorization is complete, Evergreen imports your menu data from Shift4 Dine. Menu items, categories, prices, and availability become available in Evergreen for use on digital menu boards, web menus, and QR code menus.
Step 2: Add and Configure Displays
- Log in to your Evergreen account at admin.evergreenhq.com.
- Navigate to Digital Menu Manager.
- Select Device Management.
- Add each display you want to manage.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect each screen.
- Repeat for all displays and locations as needed.
Step 3: Configure Menu Boards
- In Evergreen, select the display you want to configure.
- Select Edit Design to open Menu Builder.
- Choose from Evergreen's professional templates or customize your own layout.
- Assign menu categories and items imported from Shift4 Dine to the appropriate sections.
- Configure fonts, colors, animations, and branded visuals to match your restaurant's identity.
- Add promotions, upsell content, promo images, or videos as needed.
- Select Publish to push your design live to the display.
For multi-location setups, repeat these steps for each location as needed.
Step 4: Test the Integration
Verify the following:
- Menu items, categories, and prices display correctly
- Changes made in Shift4 Dine appear in Evergreen
- Availability updates are reflected on displays
- Each display shows the correct menu content
- QR code and web menus load correctly on a mobile device (if configured)

Evergreen Digital Menu is available on the Essential Plan for $60 per month and includes 3 screens, access to advanced design tools, templates, promo images, videos, and social media sync. Additional screens are available at $20 per month each.
