Overview
DsMenu is a digital menu board platform that integrates with Shift4 Dine and displays menu data on supported displays.
DsMenu can:
- Sync menu items, categories, prices, and availability from Shift4 Dine
- Support immediate or scheduled menu updates
- Run on Samsung Smart TVs and Amazon Fire TV devices
- Manage multiple screens and locations from a centralized dashboard
- Automatically reflect menu changes made in Shift4 Dine
Before You Begin
Confirm the following before starting:
- Shift4 Dine is active at your location
- You have admin access to Marketplace
- Your Shift4 Dine menu is complete and up to date
- You have a DsMenu account (visit dsmenu.com or contact DsMenu at support@dsmenu.com to get started)
- You have at least one compatible Samsung Smart TV or Amazon Fire TV device
Important: DsMenu uses Shift4 Dine as the source of truth for menu data. Changes to menu items, categories, prices, and availability should be made in Shift4 Dine. There is no separate menu to maintain in DsMenu.
Before connecting DsMenu, verify that your Shift4 Dine menu is complete and accurate. Incomplete items, missing prices, or unpublished categories will appear on connected displays until corrected in Shift4 Dine.
Step 1: Install DsMenu From Marketplace
- Log in to the Customer Hub.
- Select Marketplace.
- Search for DsMenu.
- Select Install on the DsMenu app page.
- Complete the installation process.
After installation:
- DsMenu receives the installation request and provisions the connection.
- Menu items, categories, prices, and availability become available in DsMenu.
- No new hardware is required if you already have a compatible Samsung Smart TV or Amazon Fire TV device.
Step 2: Install the DsMenu App on Your Display
- On your Samsung Smart TV or Amazon Fire TV device, open the app store.
- Search for DsMenu and install the application.
- Log in using your DsMenu account credentials.
- Confirm the display appears in your DsMenu account.
Repeat this process for each display you want to manage.
Step 3: Configure Menu Boards
- Log in to the DsMenu platform.
- Assign Shift4 Dine menu data to the appropriate screens.
- Configure menu board layout and display settings.
- Select your preferred update mode:
- Real time to reflect POS changes immediately
- Scheduled to control when updates appear on screen
- For multi-screen or multi-location setups, use the centralized dashboard to manage content across displays.
Step 4: Test the Integration
- Confirm menu items, categories, and prices display correctly.
- Make a test change in Shift4 Dine, such as updating a price or item availability.
- Confirm the update appears on the display according to the configured update mode.
- If using multiple displays, confirm each screen shows the expected content.

DsMenu is available on the Pro Plan at $25 per month with a one-time setup fee of $250. Contact DsMenu for details on how screens are counted under the Pro Plan, as well as multi-location pricing.
