Note: Transactions that are manually entered (not swiped) require you to enter the purchase order number (if the card is not present), card number, expiration date, customer zip code, and credit card CVV (on back of card) value. The buttons on the right of the screen are F1, F2, F3, and F4.
Credit Sale
- Enter the sale amount.
- Input tip amount (restaurant only).
- Swipe, key in, or insert card.
- Enter expiration date*.
- Select 1. Card Present or 2. Card Not Present*.
- Enter custom Order # or input 1 for default*.
- Enter invoice #**.
- Enter Clerk ID**
- Enter Table ID**
- Number of Guests**
- Enter CVV2*.
- Enter the numeric portion of Street Address*.
- Enter Zip Code*.
- Terminal communicates with HOST.
- Tear slip and then press any key.
Debit Sale
- From the CREDIT/SALE Idle prompt, press the F3 shortcut key to toggle to DEBIT.
- Enter the sale amount.
- Swipe card.
- Enter invoice #**
- Enter Clerk ID**
- Enter Table No**
- Number of Guests**
- Enter Cash Back amount**
- Enter PIN #.
- Terminal communicates with HOST.
- Tear slip and then press any key.
Credit Return
- From the CREDIT/SALE Idle prompt, press the F4 shortcut key to toggle to RETURN.
- Enter the return amount.
- Swipe, key in, or insert card.
- Enter expiration date*.
- Select 1. Card Present or 2. Card Not Present*.
- Enter custom Order # or input 1 for default*.
- Enter invoice #**.
- Enter Clerk ID**
- Enter Table ID**
- Number of Guests**
- Tear slip and then press any key.
Void
- From the CREDIT/SALE Idle prompt, press the F4 shortcut key or use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to toggle to VOID.
Note: You can toggle between various options depending on what type of transaction you need to void. - Press Enter to continue.
- Enter Trans # followed by the Enter key.
Note: If the transaction # is not found, the terminal will display “TRANS NOT FOUND.” - The transaction is displayed for review. If correct, press the Enter key.
- Enter Clerk ID**
- Tear slip and then press any key.
Authorization Only
- From the CREDIT/SALE Idle prompt, press the F4 shortcut key or use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to toggle to AUTH.
- Enter authorization amount.
- Swipe, key in, or insert card.
- Enter expiration date*.
- Select 1. Card Present or 2. Card Not Present*.
- Enter invoice #**.
- Enter Clerk ID**
- Enter Table ID**
- Number of Guests**
- Enter CVV2*.
- Enter the numeric portion of Street Address*.
- Enter Zip Code*.
- Terminal communicates with HOST.
- Tear slip and then press any key.
Force
- From the CREDIT/SALE Idle prompt, press the F4 shortcut key or use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to toggle to FORCED.
- Enter transaction amount, then press Enter key.
- Swipe, key in, or insert card.
- Enter expiration date*.
- Enter Auth code.
- Select 1. Card Present or 2. Card Not Present*.
- Enter custom Order # or input 1 for default*.
- Enter invoice #**.
- Enter Clerk ID**
- Enter Table ID**
- Number of Guests**
- Tear slip and then press any key.
Print Report
- From the idle prompt, press the FUNC key to access FUNCTION MENU.
- Use UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight the option for 1. Reports, then press Enter key.
- Enter the password, then press Enter key.
- The terminal will print the default report.
Settlement
- From the idle prompt, press the FUNC key to access FUNCTION MENU.
Note: You can also press FUNC+CLEAR as a shortcut. - Use UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight the option for 2. Batch, then press Enter key.
- Press Enter on 1. Batch All.
Note: If unadjusted tips exist terminal will prompt to continue. - Terminal communicates with HOST.
- The Batch report is printed.
Loading Paper
- Pull up on the paper cover tab to open the paper compartment.
- Insert the paper roll as shown.
- Close the paper cover.
Charging
- Plug the power supply adapter into the unit power port located on the left side of the unit.
- The red LED located by the smart card reader will light up as shown. When charging is done, the LED will be green.
