Description: Learn how to use the Split By Seat button and its functionality to split all guests into new tickets.

Note: The Split by Seat button is not enabled if the ticket is not selected, there is only 1 guest on the ticket, or there are 2 guests, but only 1 guest has an item assigned.
- Select the Manage Ticket button on the Order Entry screen with the ticket open.
- Press Split by Seat at the bottom of the screen.
The system creates as many tickets as the number of guests on the ticket and splits the check among all the seats. It will also split table items on the original ticket evenly across the seats. - Tap Save, or tap the "Undo" button to start over with the original ticket. To add another person to the ticket, tap on "+Add Seat" at the bottom of the ticket.
