Description: Learn how to configure SkyTab KDS to "Mark Items As Sent" on a ticket to note if individual items from a ticket have been sent from the kitchen prior to the whole ticket.
- Tap on the gear icon near the bottom left of the screen to open the Settings screen.
- Enable the toggle "Mark Items As Sent" from the Ticket Actions section in Settings.
- Items on a ticket can now be tapped one more time once marked Fulfilled (green background) to move them to the Sent state.
Items marked as Sent will now show in green text with a green strikethrough, indicating that they have been sent independently from the rest of the ticket items.
Notes:
- If using "Clear by Item" and "Mark Items As Sent," all Items on a ticket must be marked Sent before the ticket will clear from the screen.
- If using "Clear by Order" and "Mark Items As Sent," all Items will be marked as Sent once the Complete action is taken to bump the ticket from the main screen.
- To reset an items state from Sent when the ticket is either still active or in Recall, tap on the item again to return to the Unfulfilled state (no background), and the Item can now be moved through all states again (Unfulfilled, Fulfilled, Sent).
