Multi Stage Fulfillment:
- Supports complex routing in kitchens with multiple kitchen lines
- Allows for two-stage expo fulfillment
- Provides the ability to do full assembly line style preparation across multiple KDS stations
Note: Multi Stage Fulfillment is configured at a device level for each KDS.
Configure a KDS Device to Send with Multi Stage Fulfillment
- Tap on the gear icon near the bottom left of the screen to open the Settings screen.
- Under Ticket Actions, go to Multi Stage fulfillment and slide the toggle to enable it.
- Since this device will notify other devices, we must select which device will receive the notification. Under the "Send to:" dropdown, select an option (Expo, Runner, Grill).
- Tap Done to confirm.
With this setting enabled, once a ticket is completed at a station, a notification will be sent to the designated "Send To" station.
Configure a KDS Device for Receiving with Multi-Stage Fulfillment
- Tap on the gear icon near the bottom left of the screen to open the Settings screen.
- Under Ticket Actions, go to Multi Stage fulfillment and slide the toggle to enable it.
- Under "Receives from:" you can see the device from which the current screen will receive a ticket. Currently, this device receives orders from the Expo device.
- Use the "Show Tickets When" setting to control the visibility of new tickets on any station set to receive from another station.
- By default, this setting is configured as "Immediately," so tickets will be visible as soon as they are created, but fulfillment notifications will not be shown until the whole ticket is completed.
- Select "Previous Station" to hide tickets from showing up until at least one previous station has fully completed their ticket.
- Tap Done to confirm.
