Note: For a more concise report, use the "Print Summary" button.
This report comes in 4 versions based on the Job setting for Cash Handling (Bank vs Drawer) and the Job setting for Blind vs Non-Blind Job.
- For all Blind Job variants (Cash Drawer / Employee Bank): Only employee shift information will be shown. All data related to sales will be hidden.
- For all Non-Blind Job variants: Full details on Business Trends, Sales Summary of Gross vs Net sales, Gross and Net by Revenue Class, Credit Card Payments showing tip and total amounts, Payment Summary, Tip Summary, Exceptions, and Discounts will be displayed.
- For Non-Blind Employee Bank Jobs: A simple Bank Summary showing Cash received balanced against credit card tips will calculate a Merchant Owes Employee or Employee Owes Merchant amount.*
- For Non-Blind Cash Drawer Jobs: A more detailed breakdown of the drawers a user worked through is shown, along with a summary of anyone still attached to that drawer. Drawer overages/underages or Not Counted will be shown based on drawer closed state.
*This assumes tips are paid as cash and not wages - If wages, all cash must be remitted to the house.
To access the Employee Shift Report:
- Navigate to the Employee Dashboard by tapping on your name in the upper right corner of the POS screen.
- The Employee Shift Report is automatically displayed on the right side of the screen.
- Tap Print Report if you wish to print your Employee Shift Report. You can print it at any time, and it will be timestamped when it was printed.
Note: SkyTab POS software is not capable of printing employee shift reports automatically when an employee is clocking out. The only way to print out employee reports is to do it manually.
Employee Shift Report

Employee Name and Job: The employees name and job

Report Start Time: The timestamp of when the employee clocked into the system

Report End Time: The timestamp of when the employee clocked out of the system

Report Printed Time: The current time that the report is being generated

Clock In: The clock in time for the current shift being reported on should be the same as the report start time

Clock Out: Displays the clock out time for the current shift being reported on IF it exists. If clock out time does not exist, then it displays "Employee Still Clocked In."

Total Break: The number of minutes the employee clocked out for Break

Regular Hours: The hours and minutes breakdown for the total employee shift

Overtime Hours: The hours and minutes breakdown for shift overtime total

Total Hours: The hours and minutes total between clock in and clock out

The 1.90.1+ Employee Shift Report combines the previous Employee Shift Report (Printed when an employee clocked out) and the Employee Activity Summary (Printed from Manager > Activity > Employees (select specified employee) > Print).
Physical Drawer Summary
Each physical drawer the employee is connected to will be listed separately, one after another.

Employee Shift Report: Blind Job
You’re able to remove the summaries provided in the Employee Shift Report by enabling “Blind Job” for the selected jobs.
In regards to the “Blind Job” Employee Shift Report, there will be an update coming on Wednesday, 02/28, to add the Tip Summary as shown in the picture below.
