Use the Customer Database on SkyTab POS

Once logged into the terminal, select the Customer tab in the menu at the top of the screen. 

Search for a Customer

A search field at the top left of the screen allows you to search via name or phone number.

View Customers

Select the desired customer and use the menu bar at the top to access the following:

Profile

This shows information such as Name, Phone Number, Address, Email, and Comments. It also gives you the option to Add Customer To Ticket or Edit Customer Information.

Orders

This gives you options to Add Customer To Ticket or Edit Customer Information. It also shows any recent orders.

House Account

If this feature is enabled in the Manager Business Settings, this controls the customer house account information. This page also displays the Current Balance Owed, Last Payment Made, Last Payment Amount, Account Threshold, Orders, and Payments. There are also options to Pay Account Balance, Print Account History, and Set Account Threshold.

Edit an Existing Customer

Once the customer is selected, select the Edit Customer Information button. Here you can edit their name, phone number, address, email, and comments. Select Cancel to exit without saving changes or Save to commit the changes.

Add a New Customer

To add a new customer to the system, select New Customer. Fill out the mandatory fields as determined under the Business Settings. Select Save to commit the changes.

Delete a Customer via Lighthouse

The POS Terminal does not allow you to delete customers from the customer database, but it is possible via Lighthouse.

1. Navigate to Lighthouse > Customer Database.
2. Use the search bar on the top left corner to find a specific customer.
3. Highlight the customer you want to delete and press the red Delete button.
   
   
4. A message appears, "Are you sure?" Select Yes to delete the customer.
