Description: In the Harbortouch Retail system, you can park a transaction to essentially place a transaction “on hold” until it is ready to be processed. Unlike a held transaction, a parked transaction can have a due date attached to it as to when it will be completed.
To park a transaction:
- Log in to the POS.
- Select a customer.
- Select the SKU(s) for the transaction that you wish to apply to the special order.
- Select Payment.
- Select Park from the dropdown menu. Choose the date of expiration for the park.
- This will default to 30 days after the date of the transaction.
- Select Complete Transaction to park the transaction.
