Description: Add your customer information into the Salon & Spa system to better serve your customers and best utilize the system functions. You can do this either on the POS system itself or through the Back Office. Review the various functions that can be accomplished through the Back Office > Customers screen:
Add a Customer
- To add a new customer to the system, log in to the Back Office and select Customers from the left menu.
- From there, click the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the screen, and then click Add customer.
- Add the customer’s First Name and Last name (Required).
- Add the customer’s email or phone (Required).
- Enter the rest of the customer’s personal information (Optional).
- Once complete, press Save to commit your changes.
View/Edit a Customer
To view or edit customer information:
- Log in to Back Office > Customers to access the list of customers.
- You may search for a customer by first name, last name, email, work phone, cell phone, or customer code.
- Once you’ve located the desired customer, click their name to access their profile. You can then view or edit their personal information, store credit, reward amount (loyalty), and more.
Additional Options
On the Customer List, select the three dots icon to the right of the customer to:
- Book appointment: Open the booking screen to create a new customer appointment.
- Make a sale: DO NOT USE, not compatible with our version
- Print history: Open a PDF copy of the customer’s chronological report, which contains their personal information, customer since, total visits, last visit, total sales, and a report on the services they have used.
- Download Waivers (PDF): DO NOT USE, not compatible with our version.
- Move to: Move a customer to another location.
- Delete: Delete that specific customer if a remaining pay-later balance is not still owed.
Other Customer Tracking & Details
The Back Office Customer Edit screen includes more categories of details that can be viewed about the customer without having to access the reporting section of the software.

Other Contacts: A sub-customer linked to a primary customer, such as a parent as the primary and the child as the other contact.*
*Must be enabled in Settings > Company Settings > Additional Settings (Common Settings) to access. - Tickets/Prepaid Packages: Ticket & Discount information based on a specified time frame.
- Ecommerce Users: Not compatible with our version.
- Appointments: Appointment details based on a specified time frame. *Salon & Spa Only
- Lookbook: Upload pictures for tracking. For example, a stylist may keep a picture record of a hair service provided in case needed for future reference on that client.

Loyalty Log: Access all ticket tracking when loyalty has been accrued or used.*
*Must be enabled in Marketing > Loyalty program. - Notes: Add custom notes and their types. Types can be added in Settings > Customer Note Types.
