Description: Learn how loyalty points are earned and how to view them on SkyTab POS. Drive customer engagement and return visits to a location by offering rewards for continued patronage with the loyalty program.
Loyalty is based on using a customer's phone number to track purchases and earn loyalty points that can then be used to redeem loyalty rewards. Points are earned based on the dollar amount of a ticket that is closed when a loyalty member is attached to a ticket. Configure your loyalty rewards on Lighthouse and consist of ticket level percent off and dollar amount off discounts that can be applied to a ticket for a specific amount of points.
How Points are Earned
- Loyalty Program points are earned based on points per the whole dollar spent rounded up to the nearest dollar.
- To use Loyalty on SkyTab POS, it must be enabled and configured on Lighthouse.
- At any point in time, you can remove a loyalty member from a ticket by detaching the customer from the ticket.
- This removes any previously applied loyalty rewards from the ticket.
- Loyalty points are only earned and redeemed when a ticket is fully paid and closed out.
- Loyalty points are NOT earned when purchasing or refilling Gift Cards.
- Loyalty points are NOT earned when paying with the House Account tender.
View a Loyalty Members Information on the Loyalty Summary screen
- After looking up a loyalty member using their loyalty phone number, you are presented with the Loyalty Summary screen showing the following information:
- Loyalty Phone Number
- Loyalty Member first name and last name (if provided)
- Available Point Balance
- Available Loyalty Points
- Available Loyalty Rewards for redemption
- The following options are available on the Loyalty Summary screen:
- Print a summary of a member's points on a physical receipt
- Adjust a loyalty member points balance
- Select an available loyalty discount to apply to the current ticket
- Attach a loyalty member to a ticket using the Ok button
- Cancel out of the Loyalty program to skip adding a loyalty member to a ticket using the Cancel button.
- If a loyalty member does not have enough points for any available loyalty rewards, the following screen displays:
- If there are no menu items on the ticket, you are presented with the following screen:
- If a loyalty member was marked as Inactive on Lighthouse, the following screen displays:
- REACTIVATE LOYALTY MEMBER button: Use to reactivate the loyalty member and reset the marketing opt-in status.
Print a Loyalty Members Points Summary
- On the Loyalty Summary screen, select the Print button to print a physical receipt summary of a loyalty member's current point balance.

- Users have the ability to add points to a loyalty member account from the Loyalty Summary:
- Select the Adjust button.
- Type in a reason for adjusting points, then enter the points you want to add to the loyalty membership using the number pad and select the Ok button.
- Select the Adjust button.
