Description: Learn how to add a new loyalty member to an existing ticket on SkyTab Mobile.
On the SkyTab device, log in to display the checks available.
Transactions can be shown with or without loyalty, as shown. The green crown indicates Loyalty has been linked to the transaction from the POS.
To add Loyalty to a transaction:
- Select the transaction using the checkbox on the left.
- Select the ellipsis button at the bottom on the left. This opens the options for the transaction.
- Select Add Loyalty to attach the phone number.
- Enter the phone number and select Continue.
- If the phone number is not found as a current Loyalty member, SkyTab will prompt to add the user as a new member. The following information is needed:
- Phone number (required)
- First name (required)
- Last name
- Email address
- After creating a new member, the possible discount options are shown. This section is grayed out until discounts are available to the member. Once the member is added to the transaction and the discounts are confirmed (in this case, no discount), the transaction can be completed as normal by selecting a tender type.
The Loyalty ID is displayed at the top of the ticket view, and any discounts attached are shown as well.
