Set Up a Daily Special Screen in POSitouch

To set up a Daily Special screen:

1. Open QuickMenu, right-click on the screen to become the Daily Special screen, and select Screen Properties.
   
2. Toggle the Daily Special field to Yes and select Close.
   
3. The screen will now include (DS) at the end, indicating that it is a Daily Special screen.
   
4. Upon selecting the screen, the day of the week appears at the top left. In this example, the Sunday screen is displayed, which is the default day of the week.
   
5. Other days can be accessed by selecting a specific day of the week at the top right corner. In this example, the Tuesday screen is currently displayed.
   
6. When finished, close QuickMenu by selecting the X icon at the top right of the screen.
   
7. Select Immediate System Change from the back office main menu.
   
8. Select Continue.
   

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

All of my daily specials are showing up on Sunday.

1. Upon selecting a screen that is set up as a Daily Special Screen, the default day displayed is Sunday.
   
2. To add items to a different day, select the specific day at the top right before adding items to the screen. The example shown is Wednesday, and items added to this day will only appear on Wednesday.
   

How do I add items that will appear only on a specific day of the week?

Before adding items to the screen, make sure the desired day of the week is selected. This will ensure the items added are assigned to the correct day. Select the correct day of the week, which appears on the top right corner, before adding items.
