Close Down System in POSitouch Manager Screen

Description:  Learn to manually close down the system from the front of the house terminal.

Close Down System

1. Swipe the manager's card to proceed. Alternatively, a fingerprint scan or the manager’s number and password may be used. Then, select Manager Screen.  
   
2. Select Close down system > Enter.
   

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

I am unable to close down the system.

1. The system will prevent manually shutting down the system if there are open or unpaid checks.  You may notice a broadcast message  “NO SHUTDOWN WITH OPEN CHECKS” if a shutdown is attempted with open checks remaining in the system.
   
2. Ensure all checks are closed and then reattempt closing down the system.
