Accessing Transactions

Transactions can be accessed in the Shift4 Portal by navigating to Gift Card Program > Transactions.

Transactions can be performed using either the Serial Number or the Full Gift Card Number.

Performing a Gift Card Transaction

The following example outlines a basic Gift Card activation through the Shift4 Portal.

Note: Basic transactions as the following example, just need the “User ID” to complete a transaction.

To complete a transaction:

• User ID: This is a mandatory field. It may be pre-filled with a Store User WEB ID that’s assigned to the CS or Store Web User profile.
  • If it is not pre-filled, a CS User can assist in locating the ID on the relevant store page.
• Full Card Number / Serial Number: Enter either the full Gift Card number or the Serial Number.
• Amount: Enter the transaction amount.
• Comment: Enter reference details or notes related to the transaction. This field is mandatory.
