Description: Learn how to reset a terminal, printer, or kitchen video, select an alternate routing scheme, and change the routing by prep category from the front of the house terminal.
Reset a Device
- Swipe the manager's card to proceed. Alternatively, a fingerprint scan or the manager’s number and password may be used. Select Manager Screen.
- Select Reset a device and select Enter.
- Select the terminal (T:), printer (P:), or kitchen video display (V:) that you want to reset, then select Enter.
Select Return to return to the manager screen or Quit to exit.
Select an Alternate Routing Scheme
Alternate routing schemes can be activated in real time whenever a site’s routing needs to change, e.g., during unusually busy or slow restaurant periods.
- From the Manager screen, select Reset a device.
- Once these alternate routing schemes are configured, the routing scheme can be switched at any time by selecting Reset a Device, choosing the desired routing scheme, and selecting Enter.
Change Routing by Prep Category in Real Time
- The routing for each prep category can be adjusted. From the Manager screen, select Reset a device.
- Select the Routing button.
- Select a prep category and use the arrow keys to scroll through the available printers or kitchen videos, and choose the printer or kitchen video to which the prep category should be assigned.
