Description: Learn how to enable Shift4 Loyalty on the Workstation for Shift4 Dine so staff can check in loyalty members, earn points, and redeem rewards during transactions.
Note: This feature is currently available only for Pilot users.
Overview
Once your loyalty discounts and rewards are configured in the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub and the loyalty portal, the final step is enabling loyalty prompts on your Workstation. These settings control when staff are prompted to check in loyalty members and redeem rewards during checkout.
Enable Loyalty on the Workstation
- Log in to the Workstation.
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Business and select the Loyalty tab.
- Configure the following settings that control how loyalty appears during transactions:

Prompt for Loyalty Check In on a Ticket’s First Save
- Turn this setting ON to prompt staff to attach a loyalty member at the start of a new ticket.
- This ensures customers earn points for their purchases.

Prompt for Loyalty Redemption on Tender
- Turn this setting ON to prompt staff to redeem available loyalty rewards during checkout.
- Customers can apply discounts they have earned using loyalty points.

Prompt for Loyalty Check In on a Ticket’s First Save
- Select Save.
