Schedule a Report
You can set up a schedule for any of your reports.
For example, if you want to send your payroll report to your payroll service or your accountant, you can do that with STBI by selecting the three dots (ellipsis) at the top right of the Employee Wage Report, seen below, and selecting Schedule Report.
A new window opens up to set up the schedule.
- Scheduled report name: Enter the name you want to give to this scheduled report. This name will show in the subject of the emails when the report is sent.

Report Date Range: Use the dropdown to select the date range you want to use for the report. For our example, you would choose Last Pay Period to send the report for the fully completed pay period.
Note: When you choose Last Pay Period every pay period, the report will be emailed to anyone you put on the email list. - Start sending report on: This would be the effective date the schedule becomes active. If you want it to be in effect immediately, enter any previous day like yesterday. If you want it to be effective in the future, you can enter a future date.
- Send Every: Depending on the report, select how often you want to send the report (daily, weekly, etc.). For our example, you would choose every pay period so the scheduled report is sent once the pay period is completed.
- Send On: Day to send the report (if 'Send Every' isn't set to 'Day'). For a range of dates, like weekly or every pay period, set the day number on which to send the report. For our example, you can set it to 1 or 2 or 3. If, for instance, you want to give the manager 2 days to verify the payroll and finish all timeclock edits, you can set this to 3 so the report is sent on the 3rd day after the pay period ends.
- Repeat Every: How often to repeat sending the report (based on ‘Send Every’ setting).
- Send At: Enter the time of day and the correct timezone to send the report.
- Disable: Check the box to disable the report from being sent.
Select Add Recipient Emails which opens a new window to add email addresses for STBI to send the report for the time period you defined.
- Send To: Add recipient email.
- Send As: You can choose to CC or BCC if you want to keep the recipient's email private.
STBI Tip: When scheduling Payroll reports, choose Last Pay Period for the Report Date Range. And Every Pay Period for the Send Every option. When you choose "Last Pay Period" and send “Every Pay Period” the report will be emailed to everyone on the recipient list each pay period.
View, Update or Delete Scheduled Reports
To see a list of your scheduled reports:
- Go to My Settings > Scheduled Reports.
- You can select the Report Name to open up the settings and make any changes to the schedule.
- Select Update to save your changes, or you can select Delete to remove the scheduled report.
- When you select "Delete," a confirmation window displays. Select Yes if you want to delete the schedule; otherwise, select Cancel.
