Description: Learn how to use the Business Intelligence (BI) non grid reports.
These reports are more traditional than grid reports and display a single, fixed view. The “Group By” option does not apply because each report has only one predefined grouping.
For example, the Daily Sales Report includes multiple sections, such as sales and payments. However, it cannot be grouped by anything other than the store level. It can be filtered to show specific stores or run as a consolidated report that includes multiple stores, but the overall view remains the same.
Another example is the Employee Wage Report, which includes sections for time clock data, hours worked, and tip information.
These reports may also include Drill To links that allow you to further investigate the data by navigating to the underlying (base) report. For example, within the Sales section of the Daily Sales Report, you can select the Drill To icon to open the Sales Mix Report for more detailed information.
