To access this report, log in to Business Intelligence and select Productivity > Trends - Daily Labor.
Purpose of the Report
The Trends – Daily Labor Report allows you to analyze key labor metrics over time.
This report helps you identify trends in labor usage, productivity, and cost control across your selected date range.
Using the “Type” Dropdown
The Type dropdown allows you to view different labor-related metrics, including:
- Labor $: Total labor dollars used
- Total Hours: Total labor hours worked
- Labor %: Labor cost as a percentage of sales
- Sales / Labor $: Sales generated per labor dollar spent
- Sales / Labor Hr: Sales generated per labor hour worked
- Guests / Labor $: Guests served per labor dollar
- Guests / Labor Hr: Guests served per labor hour
Each metric provides a different perspective on labor efficiency and productivity.
How to Use This Report
Use this report to:
- Track labor performance trends over time
- Identify days where labor % spikes
- Monitor productivity improvements
- Compare operational efficiency across periods
By regularly reviewing these metrics, you can better align staffing levels with sales and guest demand.
