Physical Installation
To begin the installation, place the printer at its permanent location to avoid having to move it again once it’s set up.
- Connect the Ethernet cable from the remote printer to a port on the TP-Link Router.
- The terminal itself must also be plugged into the same TP-Link Router for them to communicate.
- Connect the power supply to the remote printer by first connecting the printer to the power supply and then the power cable to an electrical socket.
- The power indicator will be lit on the front of the printer when it has power.
- Make sure you have put paper into the printer
- Power on the remote printer using the power button on the front
Connecting to the Echo
Once the printer is installed properly, navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware Settings > Remote Printer Setup.
Tap the blue Scan Network button near the top to search for the remote printer. Look for an IP Address to populate into the box. It may take a moment to populate. Then press Save.
