Description: All closed tickets in Hospitality can still be accessed by logging in using your four-digit PIN, navigating to the Manager Screen, and selecting Tickets. From this screen, you can view, print, or reopen a ticket. Review these options below.
Viewing a Closed Ticket
To view a closed ticket, navigate to Manager > Tickets and locate the ticket in one of two ways:
- Select a time frame from the Show Tickets Created drop-down at the bottom of the screen OR
- Select Find by ID, enter the Ticket ID and click OK to search
Once you have located the ticket, select it to show a copy of the ticket on the right side of the screen. From here, you can also select Print Guest Check to send a copy of the ticket to the receipt printer.
Reopening a Closed Ticket
When a ticket is reopened, it is considered “live” and is auto-transferred to the person who reopened it. When the ticket is closed, it will appear as a sale on that person’s daily report. To avoid this, the ticket should immediately be transferred back to the owner or a new owner when reopening. To reopen the ticket, navigate to Manager > Tickets:
- Select a time frame from the Show Tickets Created drop-down at the bottom of the screen OR
- Select Find by ID, enter the Ticket ID and click OK to search
Select the desired ticket from the list on the left, and choose Reopen in the bottom left of the screen. The ticket will be visible when you return to the Order Entry screen.
