Description: Learn how to adjust Loyalty Points for customers who are missing points due to problems in the LoyaltyEvaluation table or customers with excessive tickets associated with their names by creating a new customer entry to re-add points.
- Creation of the Points Correction menu item:
- Navigate to Manager > Menu and create the following:
- Item Group called Points Correction
- Menu Item call Points Correction with a $0 value, no receipt print, and any screen category containing miscellaneous or open items.
- Navigate to Manager > Menu and create the following:
- Configure Point Correction in Loyalty Program:
- Navigate to Manager > Advanced > Loyalty.
- Menu Items is highlighted, search for the Points Correction, and add the desired number of points to the Points Correction button.
- This can be done by selecting the check box on the item, then using the pound sign on the right to specify how many points to add, and then clicking OK.
- Navigate to Manager > Advanced > Loyalty.
- Add Points to Customers:
- Navigate back to the main screen, select Customers, and locate the customer you wish to add points to.
- Once the Customer has been selected, select New Ticket under their name and add the Points Correction menu item to the ticket.
3. Select Pay and Close Ticket.
- Verifying Point Total:
- Now that the ticket has been closed verify the points have been added to the customer.
- Navigate back to the main screen, select Customers, and locate the customer you wish to add points to.
- Click on Offers and verify the available points is exact or higher than the number you added. (Depending on your scenario, the customer may already have points previously entered.)
- Repeat the Process:
- Repeat steps 2 through 4 until you are done with however many customers you may have.
