Description: Access the Manager screen by selecting Manager at the top of the screen, where you'll find most of the features that are needed to manage your restaurant. All of the administrative functions you’ll need can also be accessed through the Manager screen, and access to this screen can also be decided from here. Review each section below.
- Menu: Includes Screen Categories, Items, Choices, and other options used in building the menu in the Hospitality system.
- Employees: This allows you to manage the employees’ access to the system and what in particular they have access to.
- Jobs: This section gives you the ability to create jobs to attach to the aforementioned employees.
- Sections: Create and name the different sections that are utilized in Host Mode on the Order Entry screen.
- Discounts: Determines the discounts available and any restrictions attached to them.
- Void: Allows the creation of reasons for voiding both tickets and items in the system.
- Advanced: This section assists in altering the specific functions of menus, discounts, sections, revenue centers, and the creation of payment types in the system.
- Credit Refund: This allows for the refunding of a credit card that has been processed in the system.
- Daily: Assists in completing daily tasks such as the End of Day process.
- Fresh Sheet: Used to manage the Fresh Sheet, shown on the login screen.
- Labor: Gives the ability to alter, add, and remove employee shifts and tips.
- Batch: Shows information regarding the credit card batches for the system.
- Report: Access to all reporting available with the POS system.
- Tickets: Gives manager access to view and reopen past tickets in the system.
- Messaging: Manager access to view all messages that are being sent and received from the personal page.
- System: Allows you to modify business-specific information.
- Printers: Used to set up, name, and assign the different printers and other hardware devices in the system.
- Shift4: Shows additional functionality to configure the Shift4 UTG Processing.
