Definition: In the Hospitality system, you can void transactions, and those voids require reasons that help to monitor the amount and reasons for processing voids in the system.

Void reasons can be created by selecting Manager on the top of the screen and choosing Void.
- To create a new void reason, select New in the lower left corner of the screen
- To edit an existing void reason:
- Select the void reason on the left side of the screen.
- Make the proper adjustments.
- Select Save to commit the changes.
Edit Void Reason
Void Reason Name (required): A descriptive name for the void reason that is easily recognizable when processing.
Active: Place a check in this box to activate the void reason. Removing the checkbox makes it unusable.
Description: Enter a description for the void reason that accompanies the void reason.
