Description: If you are experiencing Delayed Batches on the Shift4 Universal Transaction Gateway (UTG), there is a specific time frame that may affect your batch times, explained below.
The system is configured to automatically hold onto any TSYS batches settled between 8:00p - 9:20p PST (11:00p - 12:20a EST), and the auto close rules are set for the account(s) affected. Therefore, if you have an auto settle or batch time set between those parameters, you will have delayed batches no matter what due to a feature specific to the Shift4 Gateway.
