Description: Learn how to ensure the Universal Transaction Gateway (UTG) machine does not have multiple instances running by following the steps below.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the Windows Security window.
- Select Task Manager from the window.
- In the Task Manager, select the Processes tab.
- Make sure "Show processes from all users" is checked.
Note: This may require Admin access or accessing the Users option. - Select Name in the column header to sort by that column.
- The list is now alphabetical. Navigate to the U section and look for utg2.exe, utg2svc.exe.
- Locate the N section for netapisvc.exe or netapi.exe.
- If more than one listing appears, highlight each and then select End Task.
Alternate Method (Windows 7+ Only)
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Windows Task Manager.
- In the Task Manager, select the Processes tab.
- Make sure "Show processes from all users" is checked.
Note: This may require Admin access or accessing the Users tab. - Select Image Name in the column header to sort by that column.
- The list is now alphabetical. Navigate to the U section and look for utg2.exe, utg2svc.exe.
- Locate the N section for netapisvc.exe or netapi.exe.
- If more than one listing appears, highlight each and then select End Process.
