Description: Learn how to ensure the Universal Transaction Gateway (UTG) machine does not have multiple instances running by following the steps below.
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Del on the keyboard to bring up the Windows Security window.
- Select Task Manager from the window.
- In the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab.
- Make sure "Show processes from all users" is checked. This may require Admin access.
- Click on Image Name for the column header to sort by that column.
- The list is now alphabetical so go to the U section and look for utg2.exe, utg2svc.exe, and the N section for netapisvc.exe or netapi.exe.
- If more than one listing comes up, highlight each of them and then click on End Process.
Alternate Method (Windows 7+ Only)
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on the keyboard to bring up the Windows Task Manager.
- In the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab.
- Make sure "Show processes from all users" is checked. This may require Admin access.
- Click on Image Name for the column header to sort by that column.
- The list is now alphabetical, so go to the U section and look for utg2.exe, utg2svc.exe, and the N section for netapisvc.exe or netapi.exe.
- If more than one listing comes up, highlight each of them and then click on End Process.
