Reservations Setup Wizard: Part 1. Floor Plan

Step 1. Creating Rooms

The "Setup your floor plan" feature allows you to recreate your restaurant’s floor plan room by room.

Start by creating each room in your restaurant (e.g., main dining, bar) by selecting the Add a Room button in the bottom right corner.

Step 2. Laying Out Your Floor Plan

To lay out your floor plan, drag and drop the tables on the right to the floor plan. You can use the “Grid” feature (1) to lay out your floor plan in a cleaner manner if you choose.

Step 3. Editing Tables

1. To individually edit your tables, select the table you'd like to edit.
   
2. Select Cancel at any point to return to your floor plan without saving any changes.
3. Select Done to save all changes before returning to your floor plan.
   

Step 4. Edit Tables Features

The following explains the individual features of the “Edit Table” pop-up window.

Table Name

Select Name and enter the name or number(s) you use to identify the table.

Table Size

Select Table Size and select the actual size this table was intended to seat.

Minimum Occupancy

Select Min. Party Size and select the minimum number of people you allow to sit at this table.

Maximum Occupancy

Select Max. Party Size and select the maximum number of people you allow to sit at this table.

Resize Table

1. Select Resize Table to change the table size.
   
2. Select and drag the resize icon.
3. You will notice your table enlarging as you drag the icon. Drag the icon until you have reached your desired table size.
4. At this point, If you wish to decrease the size of your table, select and drag the resize icon until you have reached your desired table size.
   Note: You may not decrease the size of your table from its default size. You may only increase the table size from its default size.
   

Delete Table

1. If you want to delete the table altogether, select Delete Table.
2. Select Yes, delete this table in the “Delete Table” confirmation pop-up window.
      

Assistance

Select Assistance for additional information on the “Edit Table” pop-up window.

Step 5. Saving Your Floor Plan

The following will explain how to save your floor plan.

When you are finished accurately creating your rooms, laying out your floor plans and editing your tables, you may save your work and move to the next section of the Setup Wizard.

• To save your work and move to the next section in the Setup Wizard, select Next.
• You may return to your floor plan anytime during the setup wizard. To return to your floor plan, select Floor Plan.
