Finalize Tips at End Of Day in Echo

To finalize tips on the Echo POS system:

1. Navigate to Manager > Settings > General Settings.
2. Flip Accept Tips to Yes, then select Save to commit the changes. If you do not have this turned on, you cannot adjust your credit card tips at the end of the day.
3. From the Order Entry screen, select Manager in the upper right of the login screen.
4. Choose End of Day from the dropdown.
5. Press Adjust Tips in the lower-left corner of the screen to load every credit card transaction under this screen on the left side.
6. Tap on a credit transaction, add the tip on the right on the calculator, then select Add Tip for every transaction that received a tip.
7. Once finished, tap on Finalize All to add the tip amount to the transaction, and it will batch out whenever your batch time is set.

Note: When accept tips is on, you must select Finalize All even if you don’t need to add tips to the credit cards. The transactions, with or without tips, will not batch unless Finalize All is used.
