Description: Learn how to adjust the End of Day settings in the Echo POS system.
To change these settings, navigate to Manager > Settings > General Settings > Manage Day End.
For more information, see the End of Day Guide article.
The End of Business Day is the default set time for the system to pull reports. For example, if you have the End of Business Day time set to 6:00 pm and go to Manager > Reports, it pulls all the reports from and to this time.
Starting Cash is where you can input your Default Starting Cash for easy opening in the morning. This is if you start off with the same exact amount every morning.
Allow Edit on Open allows you to adjust the starting cash amount from the Start of Day screen.
- If disabled, you cannot edit your starting cash on the Start of Day screen.
- The amount in the Starting Cash box is the same at every Start of Day.
- If enabled, you are able to edit your starting cash on the Start of Day screen.
- You need to verify the cash amount in your drawer before entering it into the Starting Cash box.
Block if Tickets Held will not allow you to complete the End of Day process with any held orders in the system. With this feature, all Held Orders must be completed or voided to avoid any reporting discrepancies.
