Description: Review an overview of the available Page Reports for the Hospitality system below. To access this section of the POS, log in to the system using your four-digit PIN and select Manager > Report, then select Page Reports for Report Type to generate your reports on the terminal quickly and easily.

Product Mix

Product Mix reports show a detailed analysis of what you are selling and when it is selling. Restaurants often use this report to analyze various sales trends and adjust their menu accordingly. This is shown in the following reports:

Basic Product Mix: Identifies best-selling and slow-moving products with the ability to sort by group or individual menu item
Day Part Product Mix: Summarizes item sales at the time of day with the ability to sort by Group Detail or Item Detail
Employee Sales - Detail by Employee: Identifies which employees are selling which menu items
Product Mix: Sales for the time and date parameters with a breakdown of daypart (lunch, dinner, etc.), employee, revenue class, item group, as well as various other details and filters

Auditing

This report group allows the owner to look at daily cash reports and details on all voids and discounts. This detailed tracking allows the operator to see financial activity in his or her restaurant and can be broken into the following reports:

Cash Drawer: Tracks all cash drawer activity by transaction type and the associated totals
Cash Drawer Over/Short: Shows how the cash within the drawer relates to the cash that should be in the drawer based on the transactions and cash drawer functions performed that day
Credit Returns: Displays credit card returns
Detailed Tickets: Lists all past tickets, the timesheet edit log, and any related changes made to the employee timesheet
Orphaned Tickets: Lists tickets no longer associated with any timesheet due to timesheet deletion or editing to aid report balancing.
Paid In/Out: Tracks the amount of cash paid in and out for the date and time parameters by the user as well as a breakdown by day
Security By: Displays user security access and activity in the system during chosen time and date parameters

Tax Collected by Revenue Center: Summarizes collected taxes by the revenue centers
Tax Removals: Displays orders in which tax was not included
Tender: Details breakdown of payment types (credit, debit, cash, checks, and gift cards) as well as a breakdown by employee
Ticket Movement By: Tracks transferred tickets with the ability to view by the creator, last owner, or acting user
Timesheet Edit Log: Shows all timesheet edits
Voids By: Provides voided tickets by the employee, void type, reasons, or menu type.

Sales

Sales Reports provide a detailed overview of your restaurant’s sales performance and can be broken down by various parameters on the right side of the screen. These reports include the following:

Choice Sales: Provides a sales breakdown of the restaurant’s offerings (item modifiers such as condiments and other optional add-ons) with the ability to breakdown by individual choices or choice sets

Employee: Identifies the most productive employees

Hourly Sales Performance: summarizes which times of the day are the busiest
Hourly Sales Performance by Revenue Class: Displays hourly sales performance, grouped by month, then the day of the week, with details for each menu item included
Item Sales: Identifies top-selling items in Alphabetical order, By Class By Group, By Employee, By Item Group Revenue Class By Employee Detail, or By Revenue Center
Open Tickets Detail: Shows details for tickets that are currently open in the system
Price Group Sales By Revenue Class: Shows a breakdown of item group sales within each revenue class.
Restaurant Financial Overview: A top-level overview of the entire restaurant’s sales performance
Weekly Snapshot: Displays a summary of the week’s sales performance

Sales and Labor: Shows sales versus labor grouped by filters such as daypart, the hour of day, and job.
Seating Performance: Lists the most popular sections in the restaurant (i.e. bar, dining room, patio)
Timesheet Sales Summary: Summarizes sales statistics for each timesheet in the period

Choice Sets with Menu Items: Provides which choices and choice sets are associated with which menu items (i.e., “Burger Condiments” and “Meat Temperature” are both associated with hamburgers)
Choices and Choice Sets: Displays which choices are associated with which choice sets, for example:
- For example, tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickles are all in the “Burger Condiments” choice set
Menu Item Detail: Provides an outline of your entire menu
Plain Menu: Lists all menu items

Transactions

These reports list the various transactions processed for the chosen time and date parameters:

Credit Card Receipts: view a breakdown of payments by credit card type
Tips by Tender by Employee: view a breakdown by tender type for each employee

Customers

These reports list information regarding the customers added to the system, and the items they purchase, among other details:

Customer Item Sales Detail: This shows the specific items sold by the customer
Customer Payments: Breakdown of payments by customer Detail, Summary, or Summary by Tender Type
Customer Sales: Displays a breakdown of sales by the customer as well as a Summary Overview
Customers Detail: Lists detailed customer information
Customers Summary: Provides a complete list of customers in the system

Labor

These labor reports summarize your system's built-in time clock for an easy way to manage your labor and complete your payroll. These reports include:

Detailed Job By Employee: Shows employee timesheet information in a block format
Employee Directory: Lists detailed information for all employees (contact information, birthday, permissions, etc.)
Job Report: Displays all job types and which employees are associated with each
Payroll: List of payroll summary or detailed breakdown, payroll for hours worked, by shift, as well as compare payroll costs to sales

For Export

The listed reports in this section allow for exporting information in the format related to the report, including Heartland Payroll, Paychex, and PrimePay.
