Employee Meal & Manager Meal Tender Setup in QSR & Delivery

General Information

Because managers and employees are often assigned different rates, these two buttons (which come pre-configured in QSR) can be adjusted with different percentages. However, if you choose to only use one option, then you do not need to set up both. 

For percentage entry, you must enter it in a decimal format using the following rules:

• 0.01 = 1%
• 0.5 = 50%
• 0.1 = 100%

Employee Meal - Tender Type Button

This provides a method of applying a discount through the Payment screen and can be configured to any percentage. The default percentage for an Employee Meal tender type is a 50% total discount. Select the Employee Meal button to apply the discount.

To edit the Employee Meal discount percentage:

1. Log in to the system.
2. Navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings.
3. Expand the Orders category header and highlight the Employee Comp option.
4. Select Change Setting and alter the percentage as needed.

Manager Meal - Tender Type Button

This provides a method of applying a discount through the Payment screen and can be configured to any percentage. The default percentage for a Manager Meal tender type is a 100% total discount. Select the Manager Meal button to apply the discount.

To edit the Manager Meal discount percentage:

1. Log in to the system.
2. Navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings.
3. Expand the Orders category header and highlight the Manager Comp option.
4. Select Change Setting and alter the percentage as needed.
