Description: If you are having to use your PIN too many times to place an order in QSR, it is possible to change the Employee Login/Logout mode to cut down the number of logins required.
- To begin, log in to the terminal and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings.
- Then select the Station Settings button at the top of the screen. Here, select the POS you would like to change the setting for. Then repeat the steps in this article for each system listed on this page.
- In the list of settings, the Mode option is located about halfway down and states "What mode would you like this station to follow?"
- 2 = Employee Login/Logout Mode
- 1 = Prompt for Employee before every order (default setting)
- 0 = Normal **DO NOT USE THIS**

Important: It is not recommended that you utilize the "2" option as it could cause issues in other locations within the system. If you need assistance, see a supervisor to determine next steps if a merchant would like to use this option.

Additional Notes about Changing the Mode
Changing to 2 will drastically reduce the number of logins required to place an order. The key difference between these two modes is that when logged in, it will not ask you to log in again unless logging out first. You can tell it is enabled by looking at the main screen. The top left button will say Emp Log Out if enabled.
Internal:
Note: It is important to let the merchant know when enabling this that since they won’t be entering their PIN as much as before, once you log in with a PIN it will stay logged in until they click this Emp Log Out button.
