Adding a Food Section to Table Service

1. To add a food section to the table service layout, log in to the system and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Table Layout.
2. Once in Table Layout, press the Sections button at the top, then select Add Section from the drop-down box.
   
3. Enter the section's name (i.e., Dining Room, Patio, etc.) in the Enter Section Name text box, then press Complete.
4. Enter the size of the section in the Enter Section Size in Feet, then press Complete. Try to keep this smaller than normal. You can always change it once it has been added, but it will be too long if you make it too big.

Adding a Bar Section to Table Service

1. To add a bar section to the table service layout, log in to the system and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Table Layout.
2. Once in Table Layout, press the Sections button at the top, then select Add Section from the drop-down box.
3. Enter the section's name in the 'Enter Section Name' text box, then press Complete.
4. Enter the size of the section in the Enter Section Size in Feet, then press Complete. Try to keep this smaller than normal. You can always change it once it has been added, but it will be too long if you make it too big.
5. The last step is to select the Bar Section option at the top of the Table Setup page. This should be highlighted green, as shown below.

Edit a Section after Creation

1. To edit a section that has already been created, log in to the system and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Table Layout.
2. Then select the blue Sections button and choose Edit Sections from the drop-down list. From here, you can edit the Section Name, Foreground Color, Background Color, and Section Size.
3. Press the Section Name to edit the section's name, make the appropriate changes, then press Complete to commit.
4. Press the ForeColor option to pop out a color chart to change the foreground color (tables and such) of the section, select one of the pre-existing colors or create a new one, then press OK to commit the changes.
   
5. Press the BackColor option to pop out a color chart to change the section background color, select one of the pre-existing colors or create a new one, then press OK to commit the changes.
6. Press the Section Size to edit the size of the section, make the appropriate changes, then press Complete to commit.
7. If you want to reorganize the section list orders, select the far left section (*) and use the arrows on the far right to either Move Up or Move Down the section on the list. Press Close to exit and then press Yes to save any changes that you made.

Table Layout Design: Food Service

To design a table layout for Food Service sections, log in to the system and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Table Layout. Make sure you are on the correct section displayed at the top of the Table Layout editing screen.

1. Press the Objects button to add a new table object to the screen.
2. Select the desired size/shape option to add it to the screen.
3. Enter the table's name in the 'Enter table name' text box, then press Complete to save the name and create the table on the section layout screen.
4. You can use your mouse to move the table around on the available grid layout. Release the table to drop it onto the grid. Continue adding objects to the layout grid until you are satisfied with the setup.
   
5. Once complete, save your changes by pressing the Sections button in the upper left and choosing Save Layout from the drop-down options.

Table Layout Design: Bar Service

To design a table layout for Bar Service sections, login to the system and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Table Layout. Ensure you are on the correct section, which will be displayed at the top of the Table Layout editing screen.

1. Press the Objects button to add a new table object to the screen.
2. Select the desired size/shape option to add it to the screen.
   • Tables: just like the standard Food Service table objects
   • Stools: allows you to add bar stools to the section (small little circles)
   • Bars: placeholders that display the actual lengths of the bar (for design purposes)

You will then be prompted to Enter table name, then press Complete to save the name and create the table on the section layout screen. You can use your mouse to move the table around on the available grid layout. Release the table to drop it onto the grid. Continue adding objects to the layout grid until you are satisfied with the setup.

Once complete, save your changes by pressing the Sections button in the upper left and choosing Save Layout from the drop-down options.

Editing the Table Layout

To edit an existing table layout (regardless of whether it is a Food or Bar section), log in to the system and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > Table Layout. Then, right-click on one of the objects you wish to edit to display the list of Object Properties. Ensure you are on the correct section, which will be displayed at the top of the editing screen.

• Change Size: lets you alter the size of the table (round or square)
• Delete Object: deletes the object from the Table Layout
• Move Object: allows you to pick up and drag the object to a new part of the grid
• Nudge: slightly bumps the object along the grid lines
• Rename Object: allows you to change the name of the object as it displays on-screen

Once completed, press Sections > Save Layout to save the changes to the section.

Enable the Table Service Service Type

To enable the Table Service Service Type, three parts need to be accomplished. These are explained in further detail below.

Enable the Service Type in System Settings

1. Log in to the POS System and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings.
2. Then locate the Orders Line item and highlight ActiveServiceTypes from the drop-down list.
3. On the right, make sure the | 6 | is added to the current list. If it is not, add it before moving on.

Enable the Service Type in Station Settings

1. Log in to the POS System, navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings, and select the blue Station Settings button in the top left.
2. From there, choose a station from the list by selecting it to open the properties.
3. Scroll down to 'What are your active Service Types for this station?' and add the | 6 | Table Service to the list. Repeat for all Stations listed on the Station Settings page.

Confirm the Table Service Button is Active

To determine whether or not the above steps were completed properly, return to the Main Screen of the QSR POS System and confirm you can see the Tables button on the right side of the screen. If you cannot, re-do the above steps.

Enable the Bar Service Service Type

To enable the Bar Service Service Type, three parts need to be accomplished. These are explained in further detail below.

Enable the Service Type in System Settings

1. Log in to the POS System and navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings.
2. Then locate the Orders Line item and highlight ActiveServiceTypes from the drop-down list.
3. On the right, make sure the | 0 | is added to the current list. If it is not, add it before moving on to Part Two.
   

Enable the Service Type in Station Settings

1. Log in to the POS System, navigate to Admin > Config Tools > System + Station Settings, and select the blue Station Settings button in the top left.
2. From there, choose a station from the list by selecting it to open the properties.
3. Scroll down to 'What are your active Service Types for this station?' and add the | 0 | Bar Service to the list. Repeat for all Stations listed on the Station Settings page.

Confirm the Bar Service Button is Active

To determine whether or not the above steps were completed properly, return to the Main Screen of the QSR POS System and confirm you can see the Bar button on the right side of the screen. If you cannot, re-do the above steps.
